I am the reporter not the story. My beat is the seedy underbelly of every gin joint poker palace looking for factual and interesting stories about the game consoles we all love.
You can reach me at sales at the clever mod com place, the only vertically integrated scene resource in the world.

Why Most Scene Boards Suck
Why can’t you trust a most well-known scene boards for decent product appraisals?
For the same reason this message was deleted elsewhere, they don’t want you to know it!
The censorship of information is never good. In a discussion forum I ran across this post about the reliability of the information from a well-known scene board and before it got deleted I got a chance to paste it into an editor and this is good info, I believe it’s real.
Who here can deny the html title of the scene board reads “Xbox 360 Xbox360 Modchips Xecuter3 Xenium SmartXX X-Chip X-B.I.T Xecuter2.6 Xodus - Gamesave Dashboard exploit - EvolutionX Avalaunch MXM Dashboard UnleashX - X2 & EvoX bios - Copy Xbox Hacks & Cracks tutorials faq – Cheapmod”
You can go to their home page and ‘view source’ and get this from their title on their main URL. Take a look at the first mod chip brand mentioned as the title of a site closely matches the keywords of interest as far as search engine traffic goes. Notice how xecut0r is listed first and cheapmod is ‘thrown in’ on the end.
Now lets take a look at the mod chip area of their forums.
Even though cheapmods has 2,000 more topics than the Xecut0r you don’t see cheapmods at the head of their title because they haven’t found a way to make money on cheapmods but they obviously have a vested interest in the xecut0r keyword.
When they do a review their lips may be moving but the question is ‘who is pulling the strings’.
www.clevermod.com makes mod chips. We’ve been around under this name since 2003 and were under at least 2 other names before that, BAPC (Bay Area Play station Connections) and EZEA. We’ve always sold mods we’ve designed and this is the first time we don’t have a mod on the market but we are a mod chip manufacturer that pushes its product hard.
How do you explain a so-called neutral source for scene information pushes mod chip brands harder than a mod chip manufacturer? It’s all about the $$$$$$ from search engine keywords and protecting their sponsors. Try knocking xecut0r on their forums without getting axed.
Another thing of note you should always mis-spell xecut0r when you mean to cut them so to trivialize them in the eyes of google and other search engines. At one time you could type ‘go to hell’ in the google search box and it would take the searcher to
www.microsoft.com How bloggers managed to influence google in that way was simply put something similar to this in their signatures of all their blogs.
Get enough guys to blog it and it will work.
